Company Settings
Company Settings is the central place to configure how your Plantrunner company operates. Only admins can access this page.
Navigate to Company Settings in the sidebar. Settings are organized into tabs:
General
- Company Name -- Your business name as displayed throughout the app
- Company Address -- Company headquarters address (used as default route start location)
Contact
- Business Email -- Primary contact email for the company
- Phone Number -- Company phone number
Scheduling
- Service Cycle Length -- Number of weeks in your service rotation (2, 3, or 4 weeks)
This setting controls how route scheduling works across your company. The current week number in your cycle is displayed for reference.
warning
Reducing the cycle length will automatically remap routes or locations assigned to weeks beyond the new cycle length.
Features
- Plant Inventory -- Enable plant tracking across customer locations (Team plan required)
Tasks
Configure the default service tasks that technicians can complete during service visits. These tasks appear as checkboxes on the service visit form. You can add, edit, reorder, or remove tasks.
Payroll
Configure pay period and timesheet settings:
- Pay Period Type -- Weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly
- Start Date -- When the pay period schedule begins
- Automatically create pay periods -- Auto-generate pay periods on schedule
- Auto-close pay periods after (days) -- Automatically close periods this many days after their end date (0 to disable)
- Email admins when employees log time -- Send notifications to Full Administrators and Employee Administrators when timesheets are submitted
- Require location for timesheet entries -- Employees must specify a location
- Require description for timesheet entries -- Employees must include a description
