Customer Management

The Customers section is where you manage all the businesses and individuals you provide plant services to. Each customer record stores contact information, service locations, assigned employees, and scheduling preferences.

Customers page

The main Customers page displays a table of all your customers with:

  • Customer name
  • Phone number
  • Street address (primary location is shown, if they have multiple locations a dropdown list is provided)
  • Customer type
  • Service days
  • Assigned employee
  • Route
  • Week

Use the search bar to find customers quickly. Search is powerful and covers:

  • Customer details -- name, contact name, email, phone number, address (street, city, state, zip)
  • Related records -- customer type, assigned employees, route names
  • Schedule shortcuts -- type a day like "Monday" or "mon" to find customers serviced that day, or "week 1" / "w1" to find customers in a specific week pattern

Filter by customer type or assigned employee, and sort by name, creation date, or other fields.

Customer details

Click on any customer to view their full profile, which includes:

  • Contact information (name, email, phone)
  • Assigned employees
  • Assigned routes
  • Map view of primary location
  • All service locations
    • Service schedule (days and week pattern) for each location
  • Plant Inventory (if Plant Inventory is enabled; see Plant Inventory for details)
